Shadow Workers

This series experiments with appropriated archives of labor force positions now obsolete in nature. I have explored the act of superimposing anonymous characters onto architectural spaces, specifically environments in which they once existed. My photographic process plays with visual perception through conjuring an illusion of compressed time. Scenes presenting the semblance of a worker aim to acknowledge the replacement of human interaction aligned with the evolution of machines.
